Dear Trish, Charlie and the Bay Insulation team, We live in a large classic bungalow. We love it!

Unfortunately, in 1924 when out home was built, insulation wasn’t used - in fact, the benefits of insulation probably weren’t even known or understood.

We contacted Bay Insulation in June (mid winter) when our 6 year old was struggling with a persistent lung infection, and we realized that we were probably paying more for our power consumption than we should be.

Our experience with Bay Insulation has been extraordinary.

Within 24 hours of confirming our requirements, they started the job. I guess we were fortunate that another job was delayed.

Within 3 days they’d completed the ceiling and under floor insulation of our 240 square meter home. This included arranging for parts of the sub-floor area to be excavated. They also discovered a leaking water pipe, which was contributing to under floor dampness. We were able to have this repaired.

We also appreciate the courteously and respect the Bay Insulation team showed for our lovely home. They removed shoes, covered the carpet and cleaned up afterward. Fantastic!

The impact of the insulation was almost instantaneous: we have measured a 5 degree improvement in the internal temperature of the house; our son’s has recovered completely from his respiratory condition; and we require less heating, which we’re confident will reflect in reduced energy consumption.
